Belmond approached SUITCASE Creative Studio in 2017 asking us to create a series of brochures to be rolled out on every product category they operate in, from trains to hotels. I was tasked with coming up with the initial design template and rules for these to be taken and developed across all Belmond products. The design is clean and sophisticated, consistent with Belmond’s style, and while the brochures are small the content is not overcrowded, with both images and copy on the same page.

I created a series of slide templates showing where images can be used and where copy must start and end, as well as brand rules on how to mix the slides up to keep the flow and pace within the brochures. These have now been implemented for every Belmond product, with a large number of them being updated each year.
